Striking in Barcelona and moving on to Zaragoza

So as you may have seen on the news, many people in Spain took part in a general strike over some labor reforms passed in February. The reforms made it easier for companies to fire their employees and Spaniards are not happy about it. The strike is planned and has happened 3 years in a row, I believe. We enjoyed our stay in the hostel but wanted to see the city and not waste a day. Here are some pictures I took from our day in Barcelona.

Today we made it to Zaragoza and have been enjoying an amazing day here. Kelsey, Ally, Chuck and I just went to a local market, bought some chicken, pasta and vegetables and made a huge pot of stir-fry. We are devouring our lunch while I upload some pictures and the blog post from today in Zaragoza will be coming soon.
